We clearly recommend using this set as it ensures the best possible power supply for the cool box.
You can also operate the ARB cool boxes via the sockets in the vehicle, but with different vehicles it can mean that the cool box does not perform perfectly. "Blame" are the mostly very thin original cables.
Example to explain: An engine whose spray line is not dimensioned appropriately cannot call up the maximum performance.
The ARB coolers are already among the market leaders in terms of "low power consumption"; Nevertheless, the kit is recommended to ensure "perfect" cooling.

Important:
The kit can only be used for the ARB cool boxes! The bayonet lock provides additional security against failure as it securely locks the connector. Especially in the 4x4 area this is "gold value"
