The DECKED medium sized drawer system features a highly versatile single drawer that can hold an impressive 180kg. This innovative solution combines weatherproof, lockable features (locks must be ordered separately) and extremely secure storage options. The deck is equipped with D-rings and offers an impressive payload of 454kg, allowing for an unprecedented range of applications.
The redesign of the system aimed to maximize storage capacity and eliminate wasted space in the truck bed. DECKED developed a drawer that not only replaces the previous models, but also allowed engineers to design a single drawer with a payload of 180 kg. This safely extends the entire length of the truck bed and now offers midsize pickup customers 30% more storage space in the drawer compared to previous versions. Enough space for tools, camping equipment or important emergency items.
For maximum efficiency, similar to the full-size system, the bins in the corners have been removed and replaced with two pass-through openings on the sides from the tailgate to the wheel arch. The medium-sized system has two storage compartments, one on each side, protected by a water-resistant and lockable lid. Four stash bins are included and can be inserted into these openings as desired. The cab-side system also offers two access openings that can be opened up to utilize the space not covered by the drawer.
The Mid-Size drawer system is fitted with six robust steel-on-steel tie-down points on the deck, each capable of supporting 180kg - three on each side. As with the Full-Size system, load securing is integrated into the outer edge of the deck, with a D-ring tie-down system. When not in use, these D-rings lie flat and are recessed into the surface.
For improved weather resistance, additional covers have been integrated on the cab and drawer side. This increases protection from the elements and significantly reduces the air flowing through the bed, potentially allowing dust to enter the drawer.
