The greasable spring sling for the Ford Ranger 2AB.
Designed for vehicles operating in difficult terrain.
Owners of vehicles equipped with OME complete suspensions should regularly grease the leaf spring bushings in the rear axle to ensure a long service life of the PU bushings. OME's greasable shackle pins make this task easier without having to remove the shackles, significantly reducing the time and effort required.
OME's shackles feature simple screw assembly - this avoids problems with angular deviations between the shackle pin and side plate, which often occur with press fit assemblies.
Each OME pin features two grease exit holes to ensure maximum grease coverage between the shackle pin and the spring bushing – increasing bushing life and improving ride quality and articulation.
Heat-treated pins ensure a long service life of the pins under high loads and in tough off-road use.
The side plates are galvanized to protect against corrosion
ORP installation instructions for Ranger 2AB - T6 with AdBlue tank:
Be careful when removing the AdBlue tank!
The supply line to the pump must first be disconnected and must be free to move.
If not observed, the line from the pump could break.
These spring shackles can only be installed in conjunction with poly bushing: SB103 or SB118.
ORP recommendation: Please also install the frame bolt GP10 so that the front pin of the two leaf spring bushings can also be lubricated regularly.
