Overland roof tent SMALL

The Overland model embodies the absolute evolution of its tent category by implementing the extraordinarily long experience and a series of innovations. Identical to the timeless model by Nino Cirani, but with new attractive colors, this roof tent perfectly suits the traveler's style, for every occasion and every adventure.
History is known to change appearances to fit new trends. In addition to the strict acceptance criteria and the ingenious functional and wind-tested design, Overland is also characterized by its brand identity and thus surpasses every previous record in terms of appreciation and sales. Like the entire Autohome line, Overland also preserves the innovative and exclusive Automatic Ladder Security System (ALSS) which, thanks to its great stability in any condition, also allows it to be used on all types of terrain, even the slipperiest asphalt. The innovative design is also highlighted by the fabrics (420 g/sqm certified) which, in addition to the usual waterproofing and breathability, are particularly suitable for outdoor use. They are available in three color combinations: carbon (grey/anthracite), bordeaux (grey/bordeaux) and safari (grey/beige).
COLOR OF YOUR CHOICE
All Overland models are available in the colors carbon, bordeaux and safari. Depending on the arrangement of the C-profiles, the tent can be assembled either in the standard version (opening to the side) or in the explorer version (opening to the front or back). The "large" version should only be used on very wide vehicles in Explorer mounting.
MATERIALS
TISSUE
A single type of fabric is used for the roof and side walls, which is very heavy (420 g/sqm), waterproof, wear-resistant and highly breathable. The fabric is a blend of 50% cotton and 50% acrylic. The advantages: It breathes and therefore the sleeping cabin stays fresher. Plastic-coated or resinous materials do not breathe and condensation forms, the main cause of mould. Waterproofness in the rain: When it comes into contact with water, the weft thread swells and thickens, ie the seam holes created by sewing through the needle are sealed and the ingress of water is thus prevented. The dangerous "seam holes" remain in the plastic-coated fabrics.
YARN
The extensively tested, high-tech yarn consists of two different fibers. The outer fiber is pure cotton, which expands when it comes into contact with water, closing the seam holes created during sewing. The core fiber is synthetic for greater resistance.
FLOOR TILES
Poplar plywood is used, the fibers of which are long, very elastic and resistant. The plywood is specially made for this production and has a thickness of 12 mm. Depending on the grain of the wood, different layers are superimposed and glued to make them boil-proof (AW100). According to the rules of the exclusive air-camping process, the floor panels are refined both inside and outside with two rolled foils made of CHPL Silver Quartz with a thickness of 0.3 mm. The plywood has a double protection: waterproof and water-repellent outside and inside. Moisture is not absorbed, there is no deformation and no mold forms.
METAL PARTS
Iron and aluminum are used in combination. The goal: a very durable tent with low weight. The sheet metal elements are of a unique quality: they are hot-dip galvanized in the factory.
DIRECTOR
Aluminum version with iron reinforcements, extendable up to 2.30 meters. The spring latch enables quick height adjustment. When the tent is closed, the ladder is neatly positioned on the base plate. An automatic locking system prevents the ladder from slipping, so the tent can also be used on asphalt, slippery sub-floors or in the worst possible ground conditions.

In hot weather, the triangle ventilation openings and doors provide plenty of fresh air. Each of these openings guarantees reliable protection against insects with close-meshed mosquito nets.
